Pizza Mia in the @marcheatwater knows what they’re doing when it comes to pizza by the slice! AND talk about selection
ORDER // Sausage slice, cheese slice, pepperoni slice, pizza dough & cannolis 🤗
 

FLAVOUR // We ordered the New York style slices, which had a good amount of cheese, tons of the toppings and a simple quality tomato sauce! Pizza Mia doesn’t skimp out on their ingredients… the sausage slice was loaded in mushrooms, spinach and sausage. The crust was thin, crisp on the edges while still soft/pliable beneath the toppings.
The cannolis had a warm spice, crunchy shell, and a rich filling – not my fav in the city but definitely worth the try.
When we make pizzas at home, we always buy our pizza dough from here -you can’t go wrong! Super easy and saves so much time 🙌
QUALITY // So many ingredients, so many different pizzas! They keep the restaurant clean and the pizzas tastes freshly made!
VIBE // Pizza counter inside the market – pizza by the slice, grab & go meals, coffee & desserts
RECOMMEND? Yes! I’ll be trying a Sicilian slice next time.

I heard of this place that has gourmet brunch in Verdun, QC! Janine Cafe not only has killer main dishes & and their bakery is insane - a slice of cake was the size of my head

The staff was awesome, they even gave us free samples of their freshly pressed juice to start  

ORDER // Gros Jambon & Grilled Cheese (and they make a great oat latte) 

FLAVOUR // Fluffy eggs, savoury potatoes made in duck fat, and some of the best ham i’ve ever had.  Seedy bread, jammy caramelized onions and aged cheddar

Fromagerie Montebello has been an award winning fromagerie for years – they most recently won the Caseaus Prize in 2019 for the second year in a row for their Adoray cheese (my favourite cheese they have)

ORDER // Adoray, Tête à Papineau & Red Pepper Jelly

FLAVOUR // Adoray is a super creamy, lightly smoky, soft cheese made of cow’s milk, wrapped in spruce wood… The Tête à Papineau is a semi-firm cheese made of cow’s milkwith a mild & nutty flavour — perfect for people who like a simple cheese to have with charcuterie! The red pepper jelly is my personal fav for a cheese board, a balance of sweet and spicy!

Group adrenaline activity for everyone!

I heard of this place to go ATVing with the best tours (and guides!!) Whistler ATV Ltd. was WILD! 🤪

EXPERIENCE // Our guide Tye was a legend, he made sure we were safe, brought us to cool lookout points & kept the morale high 🙌

PRICE // Bushwacker Tour (2 hours) was ~$180 per person.  It may sound steep BUT  IT WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! 

VIBE // Group adrenaline activity (for those who aren’t down for bungee jumping 🙃)

It seems scary at first but the crew gives you lessons and keeps checking in with you throughout the tour – you get the hand of it very quickly!

RECOMMEND? 10000% I want to go back to a more difficult route! Their ATV & Buggy tours are closed for the season BUT they reopen for winter activities with Blackcomb Snowmobile
